C.V. Jørgensen

As a non-Danish visitor of Roskilde Festival and creator of this blog, I have to admit writing about the Danish bands can be a challenge, as I know nothing about them and a lot of the information available is in Danish.

My previous experiences with Danish music has been positive overall though, so I am willing to put in the work!

Correct me if I am wrong, but C.V. Jørgensen seems to be a pretty big deal in the Danish music scene, with a huge amount of music on his name dating back to seventies. He’s been called the Danish Bob Dylan, and listening to this song below, I can definitely see why!

This “Danish rock poet” will be performing on the last day of Roskilde Festival 2018 at the Arena stage.

According to the RF website:

CV Jørgensen’s concert will be a true celebration of his bulging book of songs as well as his many visits to his ‘home field’.

Welcome home!

If reading this makes you want to buy festival tickets straight away, I’m afraid you’re out of luck, though: the festival is already completely sold out!

Feel free to tell me more about C.V. Jørgensen in the comments, so I can learn more about him.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. - Albert Einstein
